About the Trilogy
A group of scientists discovers that our world is a vast computer simulation. They also find a way to manipulate the simulation using a tool they build, called an Editor. With the Editor, false code can be sent into the program to alter the simulation. This makes it possible to, among other things, turn back time and teleport anywhere in the world. It is even possible to change a person’s traits and personality.
They soon realize that someone has already manipulated our world. In fact, we were originally meant to live under a Nazi dictatorship—but someone reset time and changed that outcome. Two extremely wealthy German war criminals have access to the technology. They plan to use an Editor to alter the course of World War II in their favor and create a new, perfect world. They must be stopped at all costs.
The story takes the reader on an extraordinary journey that spans multiple alternate timelines and challenges our perception of reality as we know it. What determines what is right or wrong—or who is good or evil? What truly governs our actions? The new technology brings incredible opportunities, but also extreme dangers. The ability to manipulate the world sparks a hunger for power and delusions of grandeur. Can this be prevented before our world is fundamentally altered?
The story is set primarily in Lund, Sweden, but also unfolds across several countries around the globe. It features a rich cast of characters and portrays many remarkable human fates across multiple decades. The characters are forced to make decisions in difficult ethical dilemmas, and their actions have far-reaching, unforeseen consequences for the future of the world. Friendship and love meet betrayal and contempt. The fight requires both endurance and personal sacrifice. To win, one must be prepared to give up everything.
